RIP Sen. Edward Kennedy.

I have no idea why his death is touching my heart. He was not particularly radical. I suppose his staunch defense of his opinions makes me admire him.

We've already posted next week's Multiple Monday. We'll be out of town for two weeks with only sporadic internet, so we're going to post the 27th's edition soon as well. It'll get up or we'll post a note saying it's taking a one-week break. In the meantime, we'll be relaxing lakeside :)

Someone looked at the house in New Orleans today. The realtor said she is very interested. She is going to have her boyfriend come and see it. We can't say how much we want that house sold. It would be such a relief. I'm afraid to get my hopes up, but then again, they are up already. When Ethan heard about it he said, "It's 70% sold already." I love his optimism.

OK folks, start lighting candles and making offerings to the deities of your choice. We really need this house to sell.

Only nineteen more hours and he's out. It's been ages since I've been this excited about anything political. Actually, I don't think I've been this excited about anything political.

Five days and Bush is gone. We're generally not political optimists, but a lot of us find our mood optimistic about the future, crappy economy and all.

We did some housekeeping on the Friend's list. If we unfriended you and you want to remain friended, just ask. We were tired when we did it, so mistakes might have been made.
